What Bonsai trees are?

Bonsai trees are miniature trees that are grown in containers through a meticulous process of pruning and training to create a small, aesthetically pleasing tree that mimics the shape and proportions of a full-size tree. The art of growing bonsai originated in China and Japan, and has been practiced for centuries.

Bonsai trees are grown in a variety of species, including deciduous and evergreen trees, such as maple, juniper, pine, and cherry. The trees are pruned and wired to shape them into the desired form, and their growth is carefully controlled through root pruning, fertilization, and watering.
